CAVILAM – Alliance Française’s French language knowledge exam (TCF) is for anyone seeking an official certification of their language level in French. TCF exams are all remote, allowing you to obtain your results immediately after the exam.

This test will assess your level of competency with language structure, reading comprehension, written production and oral production
All levels, ages 16 and up
Basic test:
- 15 minutes - Mastery of language structures
- 25 minutes - Listening comprehension
- 45 minutes - Reading comprehension
- 15 minutes - Mastery of language structures
- 25 minutes - Listening comprehension
- 45 minutes - Reading comprehension
- 12 minutes - Oral production
- 60 minutes - Written production
